TKL was founded on a simple brief: professionalism, a fair call, and a grid worth driving to. The championship runs Rotax MAX (DD2 included), Briggs LO206, Tillotson, FZ125 Shifter and Kid Kart.

TKL operates under the Race Rotax rule set. Rounds count toward the RMC Texas championship and the path to the Rotax US Finals. In 2026, US Trophy tickets were awarded at Rounds 1, 2, and 3.

2025 ran three races: 49, then 60, then 71, a 45% climb. 2026 ran 92, 83, 96, 121, and 110. Round 4 at Speedsportz was the first TKL grid to clear 100, and the finale cleared it again.
